Kenneth (Ken) Ketner was born in Los Angeles California. His early successes and struggles would formulate his personality and commitment to others, from which he grew. After attending Cal Poly Pomona Mr. Ketner started a career in the securities industry as retail stock broker for a New York Firm. He became involved in several charities and civic organizations doing public service in his community As you may guess, he tends to focus his philanthropic efforts to organization with the Southern California region, where he feels he can see the direct results.  Listed below are a few of the charities that Ken supports, and he hopes you get inspired to increase your charitable efforts and help assist those who need it.

City of Hope

City of Hope is a world leader in the research and treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other serious diseases. They deliver scientific miracles that make lives whole again.

Make-A-Wish Foundation – Orange County & the Inland empire

They grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Let’s Be Frank About Cancer

Let’s Be Frank About Cancer embodies the vision and goals of Frank DiBella and his dedication to finding a cure for cancer.

Orangewood Foundation

One of the leading providers of services to current and former foster youth. Their mission is to prepare foster and community youth to reach their greatest potential.

CHOC Children’s

Since our founding, CHOC Children’s has been meeting the needs of children and families with first-class care and state-of-the-art facilities. CHOC has emerged as an extensive healthcare system, featuring a main hospital in the city of Orange, a second hospital in Mission Viejo, multiple community clinics and mobile health vans — ensuring that every child in Orange County has access to outstanding care.

CASA Orange County

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County is a non-profit organization serving our county’s most severely abused, abandoned and neglected children through the recruitment, training, and supervision of community volunteers who advocate for their best interests.

Noble Vikings

The Noble Viking Charities organization is based on two principles – the desire to have fun and the decision that funds they raise should go directly to children and families in need. They support a variety of local charities throughout the year by hosting events and meetings to raise money for disadvantaged families and children.

Olive Crest

For over 40 years, Olive Crest has provided emergency and long term shelter and care for abused, vulnerable and neglected children. They provide homes for children, teens and aged-out youth, adoption placement and support, educational support and services, independent life skills training and mentoring, counseling and mental health treatment, and family crisis intervention.

The All-American Boys Chorus

They provide a world-acclaimed music and performing arts curriculum that educates, motivates and builds character in boys through unparalleled opportunities for performance, leadership, travel and community service.

John P. Previti Memorial Foundation

The John P. Previti Memorial Foundation is a grant-making organization that funds programs for at-risk youth, community building, and the fight against substance abuse.

Beagle Freedom Project

Beagle Freedom Project negotiates with laboratories across the world to secure the release of dogs and other animals and give them a chance at a normal home life after everything they have endured for vanity and scientific curiosity.

No Longer Astray Dog Rescue

They are a non-profit dog rescue/therapy organization. Their goal is to rescue abused and abandoned dogs, of which there are far too many, and find them loving, forever homes. They will choose dogs from their rescue that would be a good fit for their therapy program to take to abused children, at risk youth, as well as the elderly and those on hospice care.
